CHAPTER 14

God's Judgment Upon America

Because America has made her covenant with death God will do as He always has. He will bring judgment to this nation and this nation will fall just as all the nations that have rebelled against God have fallen. The Lord has given this nation time, and time again to repent, but we would have nothing to do with the warning that was being sent to us. There always comes a time when God says that enough is enough, and that time has now come for America. People often remind me of the scripture in II Chronicles 7:14:

II Chronicles 7:14 (KJV)

14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

I have no problem believing that this is not truth for us today. The problem that I have is that this entire nation would have to become doers of this verse. That means from the President right on down the line to each citizen of this nation. This scripture does not mean that if all the Christians repent that the Lord will forgive us of our national sins. The prophets often repented for Israel, but that did not keep them from going into bondage.

We need to look at the different ways in which God has, in the past, brought judgment to the nation of Israel. God is consistent in His works and I am quite sure that He will be consistent when it comes to passing out judgment.

Isaiah 29:6-19 (KJV)

6 Thou shalt be visited of the Lord of hosts with thunder, and with earthquake, and great noise, with storm and tempest, and the flame of devouring fire.

7 And the multitude of all the nations that fight against Ariel, even all that fight against her and her munition, and that distress her, shall be as a dream of a night vision.

8 It shall even be as when an hungry man dreameth, and, behold, he eateth; but he awaketh, and his soul is empty: or as when a thirsty man dreameth, and, behold, he drinketh; but he awaketh, and, behold, he is faint, and his soul hath appetite: so shall the multitude of all the nations be, that fight against mount Zion.

9 Stay yourselves, and wonder; cry ye out, and cry: they are drunken, but not with wine; they stagger, but not with strong drink.

10 For the Lord hath poured out upon you the spirit of deep sleep, and hath closed your eyes: the prophets and your rulers, the seers hath he covered.

11 And the vision of all is become unto you as the words of a book that is sealed, which men deliver to one that is learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I cannot; for it is sealed:

12 And the book is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I am not learned.

13 Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men:

14 Therefore, behold, I will proceed to do a marvellous work among this people, even a marvellous work and a wonder: for the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hid.

15 Woe unto them that seek deep to hide their counsel from the Lord, and their works are in the dark, and they say, Who seeth us? and who knoweth us?

16 Surely your turning of things upside down shall be esteemed as the potters clay: for shall the work say of him that made it, He made me not? or shall the thing framed say of him that framed it, He had no understanding?

17 Is it not yet a very little while, and Lebanon shall be turned into a fruitful field, and the fruitful field shall be esteemed as a forest?

18 And in that day shall the deaf hear the words of the book, and the eyes of the blind shall see out of obscurity, and out of darkness.

19 The meek also shall increase their joy in the Lord, and the poor among men shall rejoice in the Holy One of Israel.

Once again, I realize that these scriptures pertain to Israel, but they also can pertain to us today. Verse 6 gives us a very clear picture as to what the Lord uses, at least in some cases, when He sends judgment. Here, He used thunder and earthquake. We have seen a definite increase in earthquakes here in America in the last ten years. These earthquakes have become more frequent and more severe with each passing year. The Lord gave me a vision some seven years ago of an earthquake that would strike the state of California. This earthquake was so strong that thousands upon thousands lost their lives. In fact, so many people died that the President declared a national day of mourning. I also saw an earthquake in the midwest that was so devastating that the Mississippi river ran backwards, as it did on another occasion many years ago. Thousands were killed in this disaster and riots began to take place in order for people to have food.

This verse goes on to say “and great noise, with storm and tempest.” The storms that have devastated America have been taken a toll on both land and lives. Hurricanes and tornadoes have ravished our nation. Floods have covered areas that have not seen such water for a hundred years or more. Our crops have been destroyed and poisons have been released because of these disasters. Over and over again the Lord had brought these calamities, and yet, few recognize what is really going on.

The Lord gave me a vision in which I saw hurricanes almost wipe out the state of Florida. I also saw hurricanes in the Gulf of Mexico that drove boats miles inland. The east coast was also devastated by hurricanes. Thousands upon thousands were killed in these storms and to add to this calamity, the homeless were left without food and water.

The last part of this verse says the flame of devouring fire. We have watched here in America as forest fires have swept across the land. Thousands of acres have been destroyed along with homes and lives lost because of these fires. After the fires the storms have come and we watched as the mud thundered down the hillsides taking with it people’s homes. Volcanoes have erupted sending fire and ash into the air and destroying yet more people and property.

Even though things are going to get bad, at least from a world's perspective, provision will be made for those of us who will serve the Lord in holiness and righteousness. The last part of these scriptures indicate this very well. There will also be an awakening toward God during this time. The Lord will always receive those who will turn to Him with a whole heart.

Jeremiah 42:17 (KJV)

17 So shall it be with all the men that set their faces to go into Egypt to sojourn there; they shall die by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence: and none of them shall remain or escape from the evil that I will bring upon them.

We can see through this verse that God also uses the sword, which can mean war, to judge nations. The word “sword” in the Hebrew dictionary means to parch through drought, to make desolate, to destroy, to kill, to decay, and to lay or make waste. Some three years ago I was driving down the road and the windshield of the car began to light up. The Lord had taken me in a vision and I saw a sword that had been stuck into the ground. This sword must have been thirty to forty feet tall. The Lord spoke to me and told me to prophesy that the sword was now in the land. There will be a war take place here in America. Whether it be a war of our own ethnic groups or an outside nation coming in, I know not at this time. I only know that there will be war here in this country. The Lord had already told me that He would cause a tumult, which means uprising, to not only happen here in America but throughout the world. He said that the uprisings would be from within the nations. They would war against each other. We have seen this happening all around the world and we will see much more of this sort of thing taking place. America will see this.

The second thing spoken about in this scripture is famine. There are not many who do not believe that famine could ever come to a nation that has been able to produce so much of the world's food supply. Even though it is inconceivable to the natural mind, God can do whatever He desires. I can only go by the visions that I have had and by that I can tell you that we will see hunger abound here in America. The calamities of storms and floods will take their toll on our productive farming communities so that they will not be producing as they once did. In some cases the land will not produce at all.

The third thing spoken of in this scripture is pestilence. Pestilence means diseases and there has always been those around. Two to three years before AIDS was confirmed to be the disease that it now is, the Lord gave me a vision. In this vision He told me that He was going to send a plague to this earth that was going to make the bubonic plague look like a common cold. The Lord told me that if, in fact, He did not stop the plague it would kill everyone on the face of this earth. He said that a cure would not soon come for this plague. When I first began to speak these things the Lord had told me, the church was not impressed. Today we know that this is happening just like the Lord had told me that it would. Three years ago the Lord showed me that the old diseases that we had thought we had eradicated would begin to return. He said we would discover that the drugs that had successfully combated the diseases would not cure the diseases any longer.

Sometimes we look upon these things and either fear or doubt comes. We as Christians should understand that even Jesus Himself spoke of such happenings before His return.

Matthew 24:3-14 (KJV)

3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.

5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.

9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my names sake.

10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.

11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

Jesus spoke of the things that I have been speaking of. Notice in verse 8 where He says that these are the beginning of sorrows. Many Christians think that it is impossible for America to ever have to suffer to serve Christ. Many around the world have paid dearly, even having to lay down their lives to be Christians. America needs to desperately prepare herself for the days that lie ahead. Of a truth, perilous times are at hand.

Jesus goes on to tell us that we will be hated for His name's sake. There will be those who will be killed for being Christians. I believe that there is a time coming when Christianity will be outlawed. There will be laws passed prohibiting the gathering of Christians as we now are so free to do here in America. I also have seen in visions where there will be bounties paid. Money will be given to those who will name the followers of Christ. There will be family members who will turn in their own family for rewards. This will become as bad as it was during the days of witch hunts that happened in America long ago. The key for those of us living in these last days is to endure until Jesus comes.

We here in America are going to have the opportunity to deny Christ or proclaim Him as Lord over all. Woe be unto those who deny Him as being Christ after they have called Him Lord.
